Happy Wednesday! How was everyone’s Labor Day weekend? We had an amazing weekend up in Lake Arrowhead. It was super mellow, did some hiking, hung out by the lake, and just absolutely detached from life. We totally lucked out because from what I heard the South Bay’s heatwave was pretty unbearable! In fact, the weather up in Arrowhead was a bit rainy and cool which I loved! There is something so magical about being in the woods while it is rainy. Needless to say my fashion consisted of lululemon and nike’s and I had every intention of taking cute pics but that just did not happen. Luckily, I did take pics of this fun outfit and couldn’t wait to share the details!

Last month when I was in Paris I picked up this gorgeous embroidered floral top from Zara and I have a feeling it is going to be such a staple in my rotation. Floral is notorious for being a springtime go-to so I was a little surprised to see it everywhere this late in the year. Honestly, I saw it everywhere! Jeans, jackets, tops, blouses, bags – you name it, it was on it. At first I felt a bit indifferent about the embroidered floral look, but then the more I started seeing it, the more I fell in love with it and this top seemed like the perfect intro into the trend. It can be worn with numerous so many different types of denim, is noticeable enough to make a statement but it is not exactly a one-time-wear piece, and is beautifully made. Plus with that price, how could I not buy it!! If you are interested in diving into the embroidered floral look, I highly suggest snagging this top!

Side note: I feel silly for saying this after coming back from a long weekend but anyone else feeling a bit of a burnout? Maybe it is a combination of coming back from vacation, the accident, school starting for my little one, weekend traveling, etc., my energy levels are pretty low. Hoping that this week I can get back to some sort of working out – even if it is just stretching – and eating healthy, that usually helps with the energy! Anyone have any tips?!

Thanks for stopping by!

Xx, Leslie
