Happy Tuesday! How was everyone’s weekend?! We are finally getting settled into our back to school routine and I am so relieved – I felt like it took forever! This weekend was pretty low key and I did a lot of closet and product purging which felt amazing. One thing I did not purge was this adorable white tee that I got in France. I actually bought the tee at H&M but I cannot find it on the US website so I linked the FR one. If you have been follower for quite some time you know that I love nothing more than a good tee and jean combo. It is just such an easy go-to and depending on the details, it can really make you feel dressed up and put together {#momstyle #momhack}

So it is no surprise that when I spotted this top I had to have it. The ruffled details are so fun and I adore the unique pattern. When styling this outfit, I decided to go a little out of my comfort zone and pair it with ripped jeans and mules. While I have a couple pairs of flat mules, I still feel a little awkward in them – almost like I am wearing a house slipper.. anyone else?! I love the Gucci mules but honestly, I can’t fork over the money on something I am not even certain I would wear, so I purchased these Target ones instead. And I was pleasantly surprised! Super comfy, stylish, and $22! Initially I felt like the combo of the ruffles, ripped jeans, and bold-ish shoes would be too much going on but I was pretty pleased when these photos came out! I think the basic color combo helped in meshing it all together, you can never go wrong with white and black!

In an effort to feel more put together outside of fashion, I have also decided that I am going to document weekly goals for myself. With work, kids, attempting to run a home, blogging, etc., I am working on ways to stay more organized, be efficient, and maximize my day. I have so many house, kid, blog, and life projects that I want to do but I feel like I struggle starting. I think being more conscious of my time will help in achieving my never ending goal list.

My first weekly goal is going to be not playing on phone until the kids go to bed. Sounds like a no-brainer but sometimes I get caught up on phone calls, texting, social media, etc. and quite frankly, I don’t have the luxury of wasting time with the kids. There is so much hustle and bustle when we get home from work/school, I really want to work on being present and enjoying my time with them. When I was thinking about it, I only have about 2-3 hours with them and that is not nearly enough! I think being more present will help ensure I get all the school projects/HW done early and just have more fun with them! I’ll report back next week to see how this goes!

Do you have any goals you are trying to achieve this week? Would love to hear them!

Thanks for stopping by!

Xx, Leslie
